Description

Delicious Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Bites combine rich, fudgy brownie base with a creamy, edible cookie dough topping, perfect for a fun and indulgent dessert or party treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Base

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as directed on the box)

Cookie Dough Topping

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a mini muffin tin by greasing it or lining with mini paper liners to prevent sticking during baking.
  2. Prepare Brownie Batter: Follow the instructions on the brownie mix box by combining required eggs, oil, and water to make the batter. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the batter into each mini muffin cup, filling them about three-quarters full.
  3. Bake the Brownie Bites: Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the tops are set and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean. Once done, cool the brownie bites in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  4. Make Cookie Dough Topping: While brownies cool, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a bowl until smooth and fluffy. Add milk and vanilla extract, mixing well. Gradually stir in heat-treated flour, a pinch of salt, and mini chocolate chips until fully combined to form edible cookie dough.
  5. Assemble the Brownie Bites: Once the brownie bites are completely cooled, scoop about 1 teaspoon of cookie dough onto each brownie bite and gently press down to adhere. Serve immediately for a soft topping or refrigerate to firm up the cookie dough layer.

Notes

  • To ensure the flour in the cookie dough topping is safe to eat, heat-treat it by baking at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes or microwaving for 1 minute 15 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds.
  • Store brownie bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days for best freshness.
