Description

These Classic Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Donuts combine flaky fried biscuit dough filled with creamy cheesecake and topped with a sweet, spiced peach cobbler glaze. Perfectly golden and bursting with warm cinnamon and nutmeg flavors, these easy-to-make donuts are a delightful treat for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Peach Cobbler Topping

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup canned peaches, chopped
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg

Cheesecake Filling

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Donuts

  • 1 can (8 count) refrigerated biscuit dough

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare Peach Cobbler Topping: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add chopped peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  2. Make Cheesecake Filling: In a bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag or a resealable plastic bag for easy filling.
  3. Flatten Biscuits: Separate the biscuit dough and gently flatten each piece into a 4-inch round using your fingers or a rolling pin.
  4. Assemble Donuts: Spoon a small amount of cheesecake filling into the center of each dough round. Carefully fold the dough over the filling, pinch the edges to seal, and shape each into a donut form.
  5. Fry Donuts: Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the donuts in batches for about 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  6. Glaze Donuts: In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create a smooth glaze. Dip each donut into the glaze and place back onto a baking sheet.
  7. Top with Peach Cobbler Mixture: Spoon the peach cobbler topping onto each glazed donut while the glaze is still wet, allowing the topping to set.
  8. Serve & Enjoy: Let the donuts sit for a few minutes before serving. These are best enjoyed warm.

Notes

  • Use refrigerated biscuit dough for convenience and flaky texture.
  • Ensure oil temperature is maintained at 350°F for perfect frying results.
  • Peach cobbler topping can be prepared ahead and refrigerated.
  • Serve donuts warm for best flavor and texture.
  • Use a thermometer to check oil temperature to avoid greasy donuts.
