Ingredients
Scale
Wonton Shells
- 12 wonton wrappers
- Cooking spray
Chicken Filling
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Slaw
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- ½ cup shredded carrots
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- ½ teaspoon honey
Garnishing
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Make the Wonton Shells: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly coat a muffin tin with cooking spray. Gently press a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, forming a small taco shell shape. Spray the wrappers lightly with cooking spray to help them crisp up. Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Cook the Chicken: In a medium bowl, toss the diced chicken breasts with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ground ginger, salt, and black pepper. Let marinate for about 10 minutes. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and slightly golden. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Prepare the Slaw: In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and chopped green onions. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, lime juice, and honey. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss until everything is well coated.
- Assemble the Tacos: Take a cooled wonton shell and add a spoonful of cooked chicken. Top with a generous portion of slaw. Drizzle with sweet chili sauce and garnish with chopped cilantro and sesame seeds.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately while the wonton shells are still crisp, to enjoy the perfect combination of textures and flavors.

- Use low-sodium soy sauce if you want to reduce the salt content.
