Ingredients
Scale
Main Drink
- 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
- 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey
Optional Garnishes
- 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider (for rimming)
- Cinnamon Sugar (for rimming)
- Red Apple Slices (thinly sliced, for garnish)
- Cinnamon Sticks (for garnish)
- Whole Star Anise (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass Rim: Pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate. Dip the rim of your glass into the cider to moisten it, preparing it for the cinnamon sugar coating.
- Coat the Rim with Cinnamon Sugar: Place cinnamon sugar on a clean plate and carefully dip the moistened rim of the glass into the sugar, coating it evenly and creating a flavorful rim.
- Add Fireball Whiskey: Pour 2 ounces of Fireball Whiskey into the prepared glass, taking care not to wash away the cinnamon sugar rim by pouring gently.
- Pour Hot Apple Cider: Add 5 ounces of hot apple cider into the glass. The ingredients will mix naturally, warming the drink.
- Prepare the Apple Garnish: Create a fan of three thinly sliced, stacked red apple slices on a cocktail pick. Place the pick so that the fan rests near the front side of the glass as a decorative touch.
- Add Additional Garnishes: Place a cinnamon stick inside the glass opposite the apple fan. Add a couple of whole star anise pods nearby for aroma and visual appeal.
- Serve and Enjoy: Present your Fireball Apple Cider warm, allowing the festive spices and whiskey to create a comforting drink experience perfect for chilly days.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the Fireball Whiskey and add additional apple cider with a pinch of ground cinnamon.
- Be cautious when coating the rim to ensure the cinnamon sugar adheres well for each sip.
- Adjust the amount of Fireball Whiskey to taste if you prefer a stronger or lighter cocktail.
- Serve immediately while hot for the best flavor and aroma.
