Instructions
- Brew Espresso: Prepare 2 shots (about 1/2 cup or 120 ml) of espresso using your preferred espresso machine or method. Freshly brewed espresso will give the best flavor.
- Blend Ingredients Together: In a blender, combine the brewed espresso, 1 cup (240 ml) of your chosen milk, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) pumpkin purée, 2 teaspoons (10 ml) maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of sea salt. Blend until smooth and frothy.
- Taste and Adjust: Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or spice levels as desired by adding more maple syrup or pumpkin pie spice if preferred.
- Serve Over Ice: Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the blended pumpkin spice latte mixture over the ice to chill it instantly.
- Add Garnish and Enjoy: Optionally top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of extra pumpkin pie spice for a decorative and flavorful finish. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing iced pumpkin spice latte!
Notes
- If you don’t have espresso, strong brewed coffee can be used as a substitute, though the flavor will be slightly different.
- For a vegan or dairy-free version, use almond, oat, or any plant-based milk instead of dairy milk.
- You can adjust the amount of maple syrup or pumpkin pie spice to better suit your taste preferences.
- Use pure pumpkin purée, not pumpkin pie filling, to avoid added sugars and spices from the filling.
- To make this drink sweeter, consider adding a splash of vanilla syrup or more maple syrup.
- This recipe is easily doubled or tripled for multiple servings.
